The required courses include Overview of the U.S. Healthcare System, Environmental Health Science, Introduction to Epidemiology, Topics in Environmental Studies, Legal Aspects of Health Care Administration, Strategic Planning in Health Organizations, and Topics in Public Health.
The Graduate Certificate in Public Health provides a solid foundation in core public health areas. A total of 15 credits are needed to complete the program. The required courses include Social and Behavioral Determinants of Health, Environmental Health, Organization and Administration of Public Health, Introduction to Applied Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and Practicum.
